Bakku Vase, Medio - Smoked Desert
From the Japanese word “Bakku,” meaning “bag,” this vase collection embodies a distinctive, fluid form reminiscent of a softly collapsing sack.
Each vase celebrates the beauty of imperfection, embracing natural curves and subtle variations that bring artistic elegance to any space. Expertly crafted using the age-old technique of mouth-blown glass making, each Bakku vase begins as molten glass heated to 1,500 degrees Celsius before being carefully shaped inside a custom mould. Air is then gently blown into the glass, forming its iconic silhouette.
Once removed from the mould, the vase undergoes a meticulous tempering process, with its top edge cut and polished to perfection.
