Knotted Rug Collection

Born out of a love and compassion for humanity; Sera Helsinki rugs provide to improve the living standards of the artisans by empowering the most vulnerable groups in Ethiopia.   Each rug is hand made to order, according to
hundreds of years old Ethiopian traditions.
   
Knotted carpets are made on a vertical loom, each thread tied around two warps and cut by hand.  One square meter weighs five kilograms.
The rugs have a beautiful plush pile.  Available in 4 standard sizes: 7' x 9', 8' x 10', 9' x 12' and 10' x 14'.  Custom sizes on request
