With its bold, architectural presence, the Daiku Lounge Chair draws inspiration from stacked building components and modular structures.
Echoing the rhythm and logic of architectural layering, the chair is composed of two interlocking volumes Ð the backrest and seat Ð designed to appear as distinct yet unified elements. The geometric, cube-like form creates a sculptural silhouette, while the open design invites multiple seating positions, encouraging relaxed conversation and social interaction.
Built from several layers of foam, Daiku offers a soft, supportive seat with gently rounded edges that soften its structural shape. The minimized use of visible stitching enhances its clean, monolithic expression, reinforcing a calm and minimalistic aesthetic.
Fully upholstered in 100% wool velvet, the chair offers a richly textured surface that shifts gently with the light, creating subtle depth and movement. Soft and inviting to the touch, the fabric combines natural warmth and resilience with a refined character.
