Vibeke Klint Rug VK-10, Brown/Black - Short Runner 2' x 4.25'

VK-10 became of Vibeke Klint’s last designs from the early 2000.  The VK-10 rug and runner are woven using the warp repp technique with Vibeke Klint's characteristic details in flat weave, including the iconic "lightning" and "mouse stairs" patterns in black and white. The base color is a typical "Vibeke Klint" color, Pantone "Crocodille", brownish gray combined with black. Combining the two techniques warp repp and flat weave is challenging, as they work against each other and only the most skilled and experienced weavers are able to get the rug in balance, to make the edges of the egg align and be straight. 

The VK-10 rug and runner are crafted with top quality natural materials. They are handwoven and made from 100% New Zealand wool and felted English wool, ensuring both durability and a luxurious feel.  Finished with NORDICMODERN + Vibeke Klint leather branded label.
